The Holiday Pub Bar & Lounge in West Cork is much like many other country pubs in Ireland, with one exception - You can now stay here on a self catering basis and have the whole place to yourself as a Holiday Home!
Building on the success of the original Holiday Pub in North Tipperary, we are delighted to introduce our new fun holiday home in West Cork
The pub dates back to the 1800's, where the original 3 cottages were converted into a Public House. The building has been extended over the years to include a games room, kitchen, living area and accommodation upstairs . The Pub was open to the public until 2017.
Now you can experience living in the Pub! Settle in the lounge or into one of the comfy leather chairs in the sun room and the smell of peat from the stove will bring back all the charm of how a Pub used to be. Move into the main bar area and get yourself a drink - you can argue over who will be the bar person for the night! The lounge has both a stove and an open fireplace and seating for everyone.
We've provided everything you need (sorry, except the drinks) to run your own bar. You can connect a keg (Guinness product) to our in house cooler and gas and pour yourself the perfect pint, or load up the optics with your favourite spirits and indulge in a few cocktails.
After a few drinks in the evening see if you can't resist finding out who in your group is the pool champion - if pool isn't your game the well equipped games room lets you battle over darts, rings and even Air Hockey.
When you retire for the evening the pub has six bedrooms with an assortment of King size, single and combination rooms to cater for your group. Four of the bedrooms enjoy ensuite bathrooms, with rooms five and six sharing a bathroom. There's a living room downstairs with a 55" smart TV (there's a second one in the bar also), while meals prepared in the Kitchen are enjoyed in the lounge (The pub used to serve food and everything you need to prepare meals for 16 in the kitchen).
On the sunny days (yes, we do get them) you can enjoy the terraces to the front of the Pub.
